A rare and collectible Elmo Tape Sound FP — a vintage magnetic tape sound synchroniser unit designed to add synchronised audio to a silent 8mm (or compatible) film projector. Made by Elmo Manufacturing Co., Japan, this unit dates from the late 1950s to early 1960s and represents a fascinating piece of home cinema history. “FP” denotes Film Projector synchronisation. These units are increasingly sought after by vintage film enthusiasts, home movie collectors, and cinema historians.
