The Wharfedale Valdus Centre is a horizontal centre channel speaker from Wharfedale's well-regarded Valdus series, designed for use as the dialogue and centre channel in a home cinema surround sound system. The cabinet is a black vinyl-wrapped MDF enclosure with a three-driver configuration — two woofers flanking a central dome tweeter — and a black fabric grille with the silver Wharfedale script badge.

⚠️ Important condition note: The foam/rubber surrounds on both woofers are heavily degraded — crumbling, cracked, and deteriorated due to age-related foam rot, as clearly visible in the photos. This will significantly affect audio performance. This unit is best suited for parts, display, or surround restoration by a competent DIYer. Speaker surround repair kits are widely available and this is a common and achievable repair for this type of speaker.
