A rare and highly collectible Doritos promotional novelty telephone from circa 1985, shaped as a full-size American football. The phone was made exclusively for Doritos by K-Promotions, Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and manufactured in Taiwan — as confirmed by the embossed label on the underside of the orange tee base. This is a genuine 1980s advertising/promotional item and a fantastic piece of American pop culture and Super Bowl memorabilia.

The ball shell opens along its seam to reveal a recessed touch-tone keypad and handset cradle inside. The Doritos brand logo (in the classic 1980s yellow, orange, and brown colourway) is printed on a label inside the lid. The ball exterior features printed Super Bowl and NFL-style graphics in dark ink on the brown textured plastic shell.
