A charming pair of antique carved nursing chairs, painted black with red upholstered seats and backs, mounted on castor wheels for easy movement. Nursing chairs of this style — characterised by their low seat height, upright back, and decorative carved frame — were a staple of Victorian and Edwardian bedrooms and parlours, and remain popular today for bedroom seating, dressing rooms, and period-style interiors.
The black painted frames feature carved detailing and the castors are intact, making these practical as well as decorative. A lovely pair that would work well together or separately.
