A striking vintage African wildlife painting depicting two leopards attacking a zebra on open savannah grassland, with a vulture swooping in from above. A dramatic and highly detailed predator/prey composition, characteristic of the finest British and African wildlife art of the early 1980s.

Signed “Collingwood ’81” in the lower right corner of the artwork — dated 1981. The work is executed in a watercolour or gouache style on paper or card, with fine detail throughout: the leopard spots are individually rendered, the vulture’s wing feathers are carefully articulated, and the savannah grass is painted with a naturalistic, loose hand. The cream/warm white background gives the composition a classic wildlife illustration quality.
