The Unitron / Bellman & Symfon Smart Alert System — Safety Awareness 868 MHz Package (REF 054-5254), a comprehensive wireless home alerting system designed for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or who have hearing loss. Developed by Bellman & Symfon, a Swedish specialist in assistive hearing technology, and distributed under the Unitron brand, this system uses 868 MHz wireless radio frequency sensors to alert the user — via vibration, flashing light, and/or sound — when key household events occur, even when hearing aids are not worn.

What should be in the box (5 components — as shown on interior tray card, photo-verified):

1. Doorbell detector — slim white wireless sensor; detects doorbell signals and transmits alert to the receiver
2. Telephone detector — white unit with red alert button; detects incoming telephone ring signals
3. Smart Alert remote and charger — the main handheld receiver unit (dark grey/black) with charging dock; vibrates, flashes and/or sounds an alert when a sensor is triggered
4. Bed shaker (vibrating pad) — under-mattress vibrating pad for night-time alerting
5. Smoke detector — white disc-shaped wireless smoke sensor; triggers the Smart Alert receiver when smoke is detected
