Recommended for display or prop use only. The foam pressure pad (visible in photos) has visibly deteriorated and crumbled — this is the most common failure point in aged 8-track cartridges and means this cartridge is very unlikely to play correctly without professional servicing and a foam pad replacement. Tape degradation after 50+ years of age also presents a risk of tape snapping during playback. Do not attempt to play this cartridge without having it professionally serviced first.
