• A persistent clicking noise can be heard on power-up — likely due to dust in the vents after a long period of storage; not very loud

Screen size note:

The RM700-A uses a 17-inch CRT tube (approximately 16 inches visible screen area). CRT sizes were measured diagonally across the full tube including the section inside the casing — this was standard practice for all monitor manufacturers of the era.
