A Marconiphone Unit 3 self-contained stereo music centre from the 1970s, housing a Garrard SP25 MkII belt-drive turntable within a teak-effect wood veneer cabinet with a smoked perspex dust cover. A classic piece of British hi-fi from the era when Marconiphone (a Marconi/EMI brand) produced integrated music systems for the home market.

• Cabinet: Teak-effect wood veneer with black plinth base and two gold-tone latch clasps securing the dust cover
• Dust cover: Smoked/tinted perspex — present and intact with light surface scratches
• Turntable: Garrard SP25 MkII belt-drive deck with black platter and tonearm present
• Amplifier: Built-in stereo amplifier with rear-panel connections: Radio (DIN), Tape (DIN), LS.R.HD. and LS.LHD. speaker output sockets, and a Balance control
